What is Lingome and who is it for?
Lingome is a bilingual-upbringing platform for Persian-speaking families. Leveled cartoons, short films, a progress center, parent articles, a shop, and kids-specialist teachers help your child learn English alongside Persian. The account is for parents; children use content and classes under your supervision.
Can I try content before buying?
Yes. Many cartoons and articles are free so you can explore the quality and teaching style. For full access, subscribe or buy the product you need. Many teachers also offer a trial session (sometimes free).
How do I find a kids teacher and book a class?
Open the kids-teachers catalog and read a public profile (parent ratings, class type, and price). Pick an open time and pay from your wallet. If a teacher sent an invite link or code, join from the Progress Center teachers tab. You need to sign in and create a child profile before booking.
How do I activate a Lingome subscription?
Create an account and sign in. Go to Subscriptions, choose a plan that fits your family, and complete checkout. After payment is confirmed, your subscription activates automatically.
What is the difference between a live class and weekly supervision?
A live class is a full lesson with a kids-specialist teacher (usually one or two sessions a week), aligned with Lingome cartoons. Weekly supervision is shorter and usually cheaper (15 minutes, once a week, with the parent present) and is for reviewing watch progress and homework — not a full class replacement. A teacher may offer one or both.
What is a teacher trial session?
Some teachers offer a trial or placement session at a set length (10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes). The teacher sets the price, which can be free. Paid trials are held from your wallet in escrow, and the same cancel rules as a regular class apply.
How are class fees paid, and what is escrow?
Top up your wallet first. When you book, the session fee is taken from the wallet and held by Lingome until the class ends. After the teacher marks it complete and a short dispute window passes, the teacher’s share is credited. Some teachers also sell 5- or 10-lesson packs.
What are the class cancel and no-show rules?
Cancel 48 hours or more ahead for a full escrow refund. Between 2 and 48 hours the canceller pays 20%. Inside 2 hours the parent cannot cancel. A last-minute teacher cancel costs 50% and needs enough wallet balance. A student no-show pays the teacher after a 24-hour parent dispute window unless the parent files a valid dispute.
What payment methods does Lingome accept?
You can pay online (Zibal gateway), by cash/bank transfer (verified by our team), or with wallet balance. Teacher classes and digital worksheets are paid from the wallet, so top up before you book.
What is the Lingome wallet for?
Your wallet holds store credit on Lingome. Top it up for checkout, subscriptions, teacher classes, and digital worksheets. Class fees stay in escrow until the session ends. Some purchases also add rewards for later use.
Which devices can I use to watch cartoons?
Cartoons play in your web browser on phones, tablets, and computers. A stable internet connection and an up-to-date browser are recommended. Simultaneous devices depend on your subscription plan.
What is the difference between physical and digital products?
Digital products (such as subscriptions or online content) activate in your account right after payment. Physical products are prepared and shipped after you place an order and provide a delivery address. Teacher worksheets are downloadable files with their own refund rules.
How do I buy a teacher worksheet or file?
On a teacher profile, browse published materials and pay with your wallet. The file is delivered immediately. Before the first download and within 24 hours, you may dispute if it does not match the description or sample. After download, refunds for change of mind are not available.
How do I create an account and sign in?
Click Register and create an account with email or mobile number. You may need to verify your phone or email for security. If you already have an account, sign in or use Google sign-in.
What is a child profile and why do I need one?
A child profile keeps watch progress, homework, and classes tied to that child. You need one to book a teacher. Linking a teacher shares that child’s name, age band, and progress so they can teach.
Where can I see my order or subscription status?
After signing in, check Orders for purchases and Subscription or Profile for remaining time. Classes and teacher links appear in the Progress Center teachers tab. Cash payments may show as pending until we verify them.
How do I become a Lingome teacher?
Kids-English specialists appear in the public catalog after Lingome workshop and approval. You must accept the teacher agreement, complete your profile, and offer at least one class type (live or weekly supervision) with a session price. Payouts require identity checks and a SHABA number.
Who should I contact if I have a question or problem?
Open Support in your account to submit a ticket. Our team usually replies within 24 hours. You can also use the Contact page or read this FAQ. For class coordination, message the teacher in that class thread.
How does cash or bank-transfer payment work?
At checkout, choose the cash payment method. Follow the on-screen transfer instructions and upload your receipt. After our team verifies it, your order or subscription is activated. This can take longer than online payment.
I forgot my password — what should I do?
On the sign-in page, click Forgot password and enter your email. We will send a reset link. If you registered with mobile, use SMS sign-in instead.
Can I use a discount code?
Yes. Enter a valid coupon at checkout or when buying a subscription. Teachers may also issue subscription discount codes for their students. Each code has its own rules.
What is the Lingome Progress Center?
The Progress Center tracks watch time, learning path, and teacher classes for each child profile. The teachers tab there is where you enter an invite code and manage classes. It permanently replaces the old Lingome School section.
How do I manage notifications and newsletters?
In account Settings you can choose whether to receive notifications by email or SMS. Class reminders may also be sent by SMS. That way you only get the updates you want.
What are child evidence clips on a teacher profile?
A teacher may show a short class clip on their public profile only with your explicit consent — usually first name only, and after Lingome review. You can revoke consent at any time; the clip is then taken down.
How do teacher ratings and comments work?
After a class you can rate the teacher. Sharing the rating with the teacher is optional; you can keep the questionnaire private to Lingome. Public comments show a first name only and appear after Lingome review.
Can I disconnect from a teacher’s class?
Yes. In the Progress Center teachers tab you can disconnect from a teacher. You can join again later from the catalog or with an invite code.
